My name is Jeremy W. Smith and I am a graphic/web/sound/furniture/lighting designer and photographer.
I’m just a guy, just an artist, just a person, just a designer. I love music and great sound. I love art and great words. I’m a photographer with over 3000 fine art B/W prints. I make music. I play the guitar, piano and sometimes sing. I’m an animator; it’s hard work. I collect watches. I drink too much coffee, but I’ll switch to tea if it’s too late. I hate to do laundry and dishes. I like wine and fancy drinks. I love my wife. I dance, but only to Latin music. I like to sit listening to music with the lights down low. I like to see the stars at night. I like to read about new gadgets. I like to watch people. I’m just a guy.
To work where I am allowed to continue to push what I have done and what I can do. To work with a team that can take direction to push the envelope of what has already been done.

4/2007 – Present – Senior Designer – RARE Design, Hattiesburg, MS
Responsible for design of collateral, web site design and development, animation, sound design, song writing, GUI design, photography, and art direct freelancers and photo shoots. Also responsible for creative support for Mid-level and Entry-level designers.
4/2003 – 4/2007 – Designer – RARE Design, Hattiesburg, MS
Responsible for design of collateral, web site design and development, animation, song writing, photography, and art direct freelancers and photo shoots.
12/2001 – 4/2003 – Entry Level Designer – RARE Design, Hattiesburg, MS
Responsibilities included layout/pasteup, illustration most all via computer (all work started by hand), photography, and computer/design consulting.
11/2000 – 12/2001 – Intern – RARE Design, Hattiesburg, MS
Responsibilities were the same as an Entry Level Designer. Worked along side the Art Director and was responsible for independent projects. Clients included, Adidas, ASU, and Nike.
